All b.s. aside about Coker. If Kiffin wins with him, it may be ranked up there with the job than Malzahn did with a rag-armed Todd. I cannot see how he could have truly pushed Winston for the starting job.
I honestly don't think there was ever a competition. (Not that I followed the FSU QB race). Like was said earlier, probably just the corches not letting Captain Crabclaw get complacent.
The one thing in his favor is he'll be on the field...if he wins the job...with players from the last five #1 recruiting classes in the nation. That's what makes the job Malzahn did with Todd X1,000 better. With Coker or McTat or The Concussed Kid...it's "Just don't fuck it up."
