Despite having the least bids of any major conference (only the WCC & Mountain West had less with 2), the SEC is tied for the most wins so far at 7 with the Pac-12. The Pac-12 had twice as many bids as the SEC. The SEC is the only undefeated conference at this point in the tournament.

I never use the Wikipedias as a 'source'...no offense...and I never slice.

Actually, I did my own analysis of who made it to the Sweet 16 (and the Conference affiliations) but I give Chizad respect for posting a thorough review here, very well done and appreciated. I think I recall Bruce Pearl lamenting just a few days ago that so few SEC teams made it to the Big Dance...but the ones that did are doing very well.

So even in the sport it's supposed to suck in, the sec represents almost 1/4 of the sweet 16. It's fun watching the other conferences defend that. Could be 3 out of 8 soon.
