Thought I'd listen to a little sports radio this  morning to keep up with things. 15 minutes in I vomited and changed the channel back to satellite and 70s on 7.

Among the knob slobbing I heard from the hosts in that 15:

Alabama is going to sign the best class in college history.
Again? Really? 

Alabama is going to sign the number one player in 10 or 11 states
seriously? What states? 

Alabama is signing three of the top five players in the nation.

Alabama picks and chooses among five stars and the ones they don't sign they don't want.

Saban is the best talent evaluator in history. He doesn't just sign players at random he only accepts those of the highest character. If a kid is going to be trouble he doesn't care how many stars they have he just won't take them. That's why you see some five star players sign with other programs.

Then they started about how kids like Reuben foster would start at any other school in the country but Alabama is so good and so deep that he gets to mature for a couple of years. He could have been a clowney anywhere else but he was smart enough to come to bama where he will get the chance to grow into an impact player in the NFL.

And it went on and on.

Well, technically you could, but I understand your point.  I still say that the past few years, their hyperbole hasn't been too exaggerated. 

LSU was poised and hyped in the preseason to actually sign the best rated class in recruiting website history.  They didn't.  Bama stole four of their "solid" targets. 

I'm tired of their recruiting.  It's beyond ridiculous, and with the amount of shady and concrete evidence out there that signals their cheating, I'm fed up with following it.

I'm not taking the time to look through each state's top 10 and see where #1's committed, but I doubt seriously that 10 or 11 of them are going to Bama.

And this?

Alabama is signing three of the top five players in the nation.

According to Rivals, they got one of the top 5 (#1). In the Top ten they also got #9.

According to ESPN, they got one of the top 5 (#3). In the Top ten they also got #6 & 8.

According to Scout, they got two of the top 5 (#2 & #4). The only other Top 10 player that's considering Bama is Evans at #9.

According to 247, they got one of the top 5 (#3). In the Top ten they also got #7 & 10.

Don't get me wrong. They're kicking ass, of course. On average, even if we got Evans, if you start at #1 and work your way down, you'll see about 4 Bamas before you see one Auburn.

But I don't know how much hyperbole was from the radio hosts, and how much is K's exaggeration of their account. For example, three of the top 10 (not 5) is reasonable to say.
