the daytime @ 60f made it shitty conditions. he has boarded on those conditions before up at mt. hood, oregon ...it was nothing new just not what they like for competition.

I also can't climb a brick wall like spiderman, wear size 10 boy's jeans, carve pictures in a rock with a chainsaw, put 40 marshmallows in my mouth at one time, balance five baseballs on top each other, make ice cream out of donkey dung or speak ancient Swahili. Doesn't make any of those things sports either.

Just for the record I loathe the Olympics. Always have. Summer and winter. Hate it all. The one and only exception was the hockey thing in 1980. That I got behind like everyone else did. The rest can go blow a penguin of hump a llama. Wouldn't care if it never happened again.

I think it has more to so with lack of appreciation for athleticism than being unpatriotic. If you've never tried to mop ice really fast on ice skates, you can't understand the skill it requires.

I can't perform the stunts performed twice a week on WWE. I understand that it requires incredible physical skill.

Tightrope walking. Flying a jet plane. Rock climbing. Marathon sex with hookers. Being a roller skating waitress at sonic. Being a waitress at hooters. Meditating for days on end. Fasting for weeks at. Time.

All requires skills or stamina many of us don't have.

Just because it's hard to do it doesn't qualify as a sport.

I'm with you on NASCAR. If, however, you want to disqualify snowboarding, then you pretty much have to throw out all the winter games. I know: you hate the Olympics.
