"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

They didn't cut Ben Tate. They put him on IR with cracked ribs but my understanding is they want him back. TW can weigh in on this as the board's Houstonian.

Maybe I wasn't understanding his twattering but it looked like to me that he was going elsewhere.

He will be a free agent in March, don't know if Texans are in negotiations with him or not.  If he goes somewhere else, he should be top dog in their offense........where ever he goes.

Don't blame him for getting tired of taking a back seat to Foster, who is not, by many accounts, a team guy, or a decent person.  He is not total gangsta but for Houston's pretty squeaky clean image, he is probably the most thug of the bunch.

If Ben can stay healthy, he would be the go to guy on many teams.  I hate that it did not work out for him long term in Houston.  I have enjoyed having him here.

I wish Ben would go to the Saints and up-end Ingram's shitty career.  Dude is fucking useless!!!

Agreed that Ingram is shit, but I don't want an Auburn back playing for the Saints.  He'd get the ball four times for an average of 5 yards a carry and then sit while a few other backs got four carries and Brees gets 45 passes.

I know you guys are Falcon haters but I'd love to see him in the ATL.  The Falcons screwed up royally letting Turner get away and bringing in Steven Jackson. Tate could be the feature back and Atlanta does run the ball a good bit.

No, No, and No!  I enjoy hating them too much.  It's so much fun to see their advertising feces smeared on all the billboards in August and they are already out of the playoff picture by the end of September!

Okay Mr.  You've spewed your Falcons vitriol for far too long now. Out with it.  What's with the hatred?

Srsly, I have no dog in the fight other than following Atlanta pro teams all my life due to being a little over 3 hours away.  Not a huge pro sports fan.  Love watching NFL, MLB and teh NBA's.  But, I don't have 1/1000th of the passion for anything pro as I do for college....co-eds.

Squaky clean refers to the players.  The occasional DUI is all I remember.  One false arrest that was legitimately a "Driving While Black" incident.

That booing was an overblown story.  But at that point in the season, with Kubiak refusing to try anything different when he had nothing to lose, even I let out a sigh of relief and thought "Thank God" when Schaub went out, not because he was hurt, but because that forced Kubiak's hand.  So any cheers were not aimed at Matt personally, but kind of like me, people were just relieved that now we HAD to have someone else.  Yeah, there was a psycho fan that allegedly showed up at Schaub's house, but in Philly, that's called Tuesday.  We are no where near that level.

It's very simple.  Like you, and many other Alabamians I pulled for the Falcons simply because there was no other pro team to pull for.
The year is 1980.  Steve Bartkowski and William Andrews have raised the hopes and dreams of an 11 year old who had just endured a 5-6 Barfield season with heavy commentary from the Warden due to losing all 6 of it's conference games.
This dream season of the Falcons is finally going to be the bright spot.  Nope.  Allowing the Cowboys to score 20 points in the 4th quarter lead by Danny fucking White.  Did you hear me?  DANNY WHITE!
30-27.
Fuck the Falcons.  Fuck them long and hard.
