An Auburn fan posted the drunk bammer ninja bitch video and we were mocking it. A mutual turd acquaintance (went to HS with him) posted this response:
By far the worst "fans" (and I use that term loosely) are the ones that show up to support LSU at Baton Rouge. They still set the standard for horrible in college football. Again, if an LSU mom had this same behavior at a bowl game, it would be completely lost in the noise and a non-event. The media is always on the search for bad behavior among Alabama fans and plays it over and over because it is so rare and Alabama has been on top for so much the last few years. My son plays hockey and loves NHL hockey more than football. I have seen NHL hockey fan behavior that makes ANYTHING that I have seen at any college football game very benign. I have seen an entire section break out in a massive fight and get ejected. Iron Bowl behavior is not to that level yet.
No way did I let that stand. I realize it's no twatter battle, but I tried.
Right, Joey, those poor, poor bammer fans are being singled out because y'all were winning. It would be a lot easier to make your case if y'all didn't give the world SO many egregious examples to choose from - win OR lose. Win, and sexually assault an opposing fan in public and on camera. Lose, and kill trees and brag about it on the radio, or shoot family members, or go ninja on the opposing fans in the stands on camera. You say an AU or LSU person would get no attention - but how do you know? None of us have done such outrageous and stupid stuff!! Like we said - there is a percentage of every school's fan base that embarrasses the hell out of the rest of us, like my family and yours, but bammer seems to have a bigger percentage of them than others. Make all the excuses you want about persecution but if you'd stop making it so easy...
And for the record, I tailgate with LSU fans every year, seeing as how I am married to one. I have never seen or heard anything other than friendly hospitality to all. They share their beer and their food with everyone of any fan base. The only time in 14 years I have ever been hassled at an LSU game was by a bammer fan. A drunk bammer girl got all up in my face slurring and screaming and I wasn't even wearing LSU gear.
Bottom line - you get the rep you deserve.
What a fucking homer. I'm going to go back and post the link to the Isolated Incident twitter site.
