This guy could be exactly what we need as far as a possession receiver/big play threat. Coates is great at stretching the field for us, Davis shows promise but I don't think either one can go up and take one away from the DB like this guy may be able to, from what I've seen and heard. He is tall enough that he should be a valuable weapon, esp in red zone. He and Uzi together will give the D a lot of field to cover. I really think this is a huge pick up. And if I say it's important, then you know it's important. Because I know so much about football.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College wide receiver D'haquille Williams, rated the No. 1 junior college prospect in the country, has signed with Auburn.
Bill Snyder, MGCCC's sports information director, tweeted that Williams signed with Auburn at 7:01 a.m. Wednesday, the first day mid-year junior-college transfers can sign with four-year schools.
Williams, originally from La Place, La., had been committed to the Tigers since July, but had apparently also been considering LSU in recent weeks. The 6-foot-3, 213-pound sophomore was a NJCAA All-American as a freshman at Gulf Coast in 2012 and an honorable mention pick in 2013, when he caught 51 passes for 733 yards and nine touchdowns in nine games.
MGCCC head coach Steve Campbell said Tuesday that Williams has completed course work to graduate in December, thus he can enroll at Auburn in January and participate in spring practice.
Also Wednesday, Copiah-Lincoln offensive lineman Xavier Dampeer tweeted that he had signed with the Tigers.
Williams' Gulf Coast teammate, linebacker/safety Derrick Moncrief also signed with Auburn on Wednesday. Moncrief is originally from Prattville.
UPDATE: Auburn football coach Gus Malzahn confirmed the signing of Williams, Moncrief and Dampeer at his Wednesday morning news conference.
