I've been far more worried about Georgia than Alabama lately, not just because Georgia has punked our asses the last few years other than 2010.  But more because a loss to them would buss dat bubble a bit and take some of the luster off the Iron Bowl.  Bama will be 11-0 coming in. I want 10-1.  And I think we get it. 

First off, this offense has made a believer out of me.  They have improved beyond belief as the year's gone on.  I know it was UT, but damn, they've been moving the ball at will on err'body.  The line has put their big boy panties on and they're crushing people.  Mason is the hardest working back I've ever seen at Auburn.  Used to think it was Cadillac but Mason simply can't be stopped between the tackles.  And Marshall?  I wasn't impressed the first few games with his running, but now it seems like he took the read option and made it his own.  He gets it.  He sees the field and understands when to keep it.  Bottom line, I will be very surprised if we don't put 35+ on the Dawgs.

The defense is making a believer out of me.  They still give up a ton of yards, especially early, but seem to figure it out as the game goes on.  They've been salty as hell in the second half this year.  Against Arky, they faced a big back and power running game.  Got gashed a bunch but kept them off the scoreboard for the most part.  Same thing with UT.  Big, powerful backs behind a physical line.  Gave up some first half runs but bowed up in the second half to shut it down.  Now comes Georgia.

This will be the biggest bad ass of a back they've faced.  Gurley is legitimately the shit.  The one HUGE difference between Jawja and what AU faced in Arky and UT.....?  Georgia has a Murray.  Focus on one and the other burns you.  They will score points.  More than either the Hawgs or Vols.  Probably a lot more.  But, with the exception of getting behind at LSU, this D has found ways to get it done each and every week.  The 4th down stop.  The big sack late in the game. The interception at a crucial time. 

Prediction:  AU pulls one out in very similar fashion to the win over the Fighting JFF's.  Georgia scores a lot. We score more.  Good guyz 45-38

I am more worried about the thugs because it is one that we should win. Bama is one that we could win. It would be really easy for this team to look past the thugs because of the hoopla already taking place.

Where do we beat this team?  They have a powerful running back who can take it to the house.  They have an experienced quarterback who doesn't make many mistakes.  They have receivers who catch the ball well. They have an offensive line that can protect the pocket.  They have a defense full of athletes.  They're one of the better run defenses in the league.

BUT. 

They have a shoddy pass defense. 

This is where we do it.  Marshall doesn't throw a whole bunch, but when he does, it's successful.  A few deep balls to Coates.  A screen to Louis.  A wheel route to Prosch or Uzzi.  It opens up the run game enough to gash them. 

We also win the special teams game especially early.  We start slow but make Georgia drive the ball 80+ yards every time.  They do, often, but in the 4th, we turn it on and score a few touchdowns to win.
