The thing that gets me about Fat Bastard making a public issue about a tape being edited is the fact that it was on a conversion play. A freaking pat. Does he really think that IF Malzahn had knowledge of the tape being edited, it would be on a PAT? If so, he's a bigger Dumas than he even appears.

This is one he should have taken up with the commish and not talked about in a presser, if he's that concerned about a pat play being edited. If it actually comes down to a conversion play, I will stand corrected. And pissed off.

This. Fuck that guy. Bielema and Jones both need to learn not to say stupid shit in this league. If they insist, they should at least wait until their teams are halfway decent enough to put up some sort of fight against the big boys. Maybe that sort of thing is part of rivalries in the B1G and Big East; I don't know. I just know that more often than not, you're going to catch a beatdown if you do it in the SEC.

"I did not send them film,'' Bielema said. "And I had to go through a little bit of a process there just to secure our film. ... We had to go through some things just to guard from anybody hopefully sending our film to them.

"I've been assured by the Big Ten office that that wasn't going to happen. And, of course, we informed Oregon State, and our video director reached out to them after the game on Saturday and said we're not sending this film obviously because we didn't get one on them.''

OSU, of course, does not have game film to send because Hurricane Isaac forced the postponement of last week's scheduled season opener against Nicholls State.

Not having that "tune-up'' game is a definite disadvantage for Oregon State. The flip side is that the Beavers would be fresher and would have the advantage of seeing the Badgers - who have a new offensive coordinator - on tape.

The Beavers have seen tape of the Badgers against UNI, a game in which the Panthers' defensive scheme was effective (Wisconsin averaged less than four yards per carry), but it's unclear whether they saw a television broadcast or a coaches' version.
