Again, I think she has the experience and knowledge to be on the committee. She knows how to deal with egos an knuckleheads. I guess my only concern would be her current ties with Stanford as a grad and current professor.

That would make sense in the short term.
But they have to make it a big deal. apparently they are run by government employees....

I don't see it as being any bigger deal or screwing teams out any more efficiently than we were in 04. meh

The big deal seems to be about non football coaches and players being on the committe. At first, I leaned in that direction. Now, don't care. Lots of Fortune 500 boards have folks who don't know diddly about the specific industry for the board on which they serve but they can make judgements and decisions. That's prob more about what this is about. Well, that and insurance against the SEC winning more BCS MNC's.

That's why the conference championship is legitimate and the BCS is not.
