It was no less true though. We were our own worst enemy the 2nd half. Like the Washington state game, it wasn't as close as the game/score appeared. We were clearly the dominant team and let them get closer than they ever should have.

Every week this AU team gets better and better. There is a fire in this team that I haven't seen since maybe even before 2010. I am excited about AU football again. The defense, even though thin, has really been impressing me; both the defensive line and the secondary. Heck, even Holland has gotten much better. The WR's are still dropping easy catches and Marshall is till missing throws but the AU running game is straight up smash mouth. I love it! Another thing, AU has one of the best coaching staffs in the country. While I didn't agree with some of the calls, when these coaches smell blood they go for a bleed out.

Marshall didn't miss many last night, most of his incomplete passes were due to the receivers not catching the ball...btw, Ryan White sucks.
