There have been plenty of Firefly/Serenity comics, but only now will you get to see the rest of the story. Dark Horse has announced the first-ever continuation of the Firefly series, with a new Serenity comic set after the events of the beloved (if somewhat devastating) movie.
Here's the summary:
As the series begins, Mal and the crew are recouping from their recent strike against the sinister interplanetary government, The Alliance, in which they exposed government agencies as those responsible for the creation of the Reavers — the scourge of the universe. With River Tam in the co-pilot chair and a very pregnant Zoe reeling from the death of her husband, Wash, Mal is finding himself and his ship in greater danger than ever.
Fans of Firefly know that greater danger than ever before is saying something. Georges Junty, frequent artist of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will illustrate the comic, although the writer and the comic's release date are unknown for now.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine. What kind of brick and mud business model is that. Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve. Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty. Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it. That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."
