It pisses me off that Les continues to do stupid shit, like try a fake fg from inside the 10 while up by 3 touchdowns instead of taking the easy 3, and it never comes back to bite him. He is a lucky sonofabitch.

It's amazing that I'm disappointed because I saw the game that I knew I would.  I guess that's the hope factor coming into play.  We all know that we lack talent at certain spots on the field.

What I did enjoy was the fact that the team never quit.  Even when the game was over they still played to win.  CGM is headed in the right direction.  Get some recruits to fill the holes (particularly in the middle of defense) and we will get back to Auburn football.

I have no complaints, other than the derp on the final drive.  We should have scored.

The Corndog even behaved himself.  But I am damn glad I was not in Red Stick.

My friend that we usually sit with texted me at halftime. The people that sit behind them every year asked where I was... Probably missing the in-game entertainment from the drunken asshole Auburn fan.

I'm going to say it, Marshall is not a good QB.  He is athletic but can't throw the ball for shoot.  Jeremy Johnson needs to start taking snaps.

While I agree with your disagreement, I'll add this.  He's not a good QB...now, but damn sure no reason to abandon him at his point.  I'll qualify that to say he's not good enough to make up for the lack of talent around him...not good enough to carry this team to victory over a team that has us outmanned.  He'd be pretty damn good on a good team with a great run game, great protection and great WR's.  He shows flashes of greatness, but flashes of "doh!" too.  He has improved week to week, until this week.  But that was vs a great SEC D.

I will say he wasn't the only qb having issues throwing a wet ball yesterday. Seemed to have more effect on the smaller qbs like Marshall and Murray. I don't think he's bad. Wet ball, night sec road game, hostile crowd, very little practice before the season.....not great but does anyone recall how bad Frazier looked last year? I'll take NM. LSU is a stout team.

THIS again.

He's not Cam nor should any rational person ever expect that again.

He's as serviceable as McChestTattoo. Maybe less accurate, but more athletic. Not afraid to tuck & run for a first down.

i think he was amped. First game away from home in the rain in a hostile environment. He threw some pretty balls once he settled down in the second half.

Agree that he's improved till now. Hope he learned from this game. Some very poor choices. 2 things that stick out to me are that he's definitely in my mind our best option at qb-so, I agree with starting him --unlike the MLB starter-- and he's a converted SEC safety that didn't come here till summer. I think he'll be much improved by late season. I'm hoping he will peak by THuga and UA. We could very well steal one of those if he does.

We didn't play our best game and still could have very easily been a touchdown down with 1 minute left or even better against the number 6 team. After the sting subsides, I realize that they fought hard but made mistakes. I still feel better about this team than I did this time last year, even though we played LSU closer last year.

Lsu played a shit ton better this year than last year. They laid a total dud last year and still managed to win in our house. I put no stock in last years game. Total anomaly.

Also, I don't know how many tipped balls at the line NM had last night but I think it must have been at least 3. He has to do a better job of choosing his passing lane in order to overthrow the open receiver by 20 yards. :rimshot:

With that being said, I seriously like the dude. He seems like a baller. I can't help but think that if he were in Auburn during spring--we woulda had a much better chance in SEC play this year. Especially last night on the road. Maybe we go hurry up in the first half and throw it more.
