My head says we will take a pounding between the tackles and they win big BUT my heart is saying we can pull this one out. This will be Marshall's coming out party and he will hit the open guys that he's been missing which will open things up for the run. It's gonna be a shootout and take some special teams help but we're going to upset them. I could give you the breakdown of how this will all play out but it would take too long. I did not factor the rain into this prediction.
I think Auburn covers, but still loses by a TD to 10 points, simply because of the home field advantage. Marshall has never started a game in an atmosphere like this as a QB. I hate to say it, but I think he throws a couple of picks early and then settles in to a nice game over all. Early miscues will turn out to be too much to overcome though.
