Nice piece and perspective, but....what's it really say that we don't already know? The truth is usually boring. It's hard to sell. Shit-stirrers can use creative writing to make non-stories become stories and make a dying media form more profitable. Economics trumps integrity in the majority of business decisions.

There is an article on ESPN that is already poking holes in their story.  Apparently Fath' Carter told them lies and they never followed up on his stor but instead ran with it.  Shocker.
