The last few days have been a bit slow on the football board, and there's no excuse for that now. It's officially football season.

I watched high school teenagers bang on each other yesterday and today. I've watched preseason NFL players kill for a paycheck. I've succumbed to watching ESPN "anal-lickers" spew bullshit about this upcoming season. I've listened to the Gameday crew say that Stanford will beat Alabama in the BCSCG.

Fuck that shit. It's Auburn time. Ignite the Gus Bus. Suit up the Sheriff. Cue the Jew curls. Lawson the Carl. Montray the Adam. Indent the Jayman. Mace up the Tre. Frost the Kris.

Anything has to better than what was that cluster fuck last year. I don't expect them to win every game, I just don't want to see the quit that the team had in it last year.

I'm excited. Extra excited. I gave up on Auburn football about week 6 last season so I feel like this is our exit from football prison.

The nice thing is there has been enough time lapse to erase some of the stomach ulcer of last years poop sammich.

I believe it was this Arkansas game you guys speak that I chose to not go in to the game. However, I did get a chance to meet some of the crazies here on teh X.

You should try FS1. Old SpeedTV on dish. May not be the best coverage but giving them my viewing time over ESPN.

I can't focus on work at all.. my liver is tingling, the time for large quantities of whiskey and beer is near.

I'm hoping not to see massive 30-40 yard Mike Leach bombs dropped with the safety situation being sketchy as it is right now.

Well, I think everybody is cautiously optimistic. Nobody wants a repeat of last year, but I think if we can get three straight wins under our belt in pretty good fashion everybody will start feeling better.
