Calling of the...?

Calling of the...?
« on: August 15, 2013, 12:31:30 PM »
I'm not going to call it or even say it because it's not my place.

But here in B'ham, it's a cool 78 degrees in the middle of August, and when I stepped outside this morning to let my dog piss, I felt a chill in the air.

If this keeps up, it will be the best football season weather-wise that I can remember.

Odd for here in Dallas but it was in low 70's on way to work. When I tee off tomorrow it suppose to be in the upper 80's with low humidity. That should help with the scoring beer drinking.

The low this morning was 66.  I felt a definite tingle in the taint when I got out of my car to walk to my office.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

It's about to move in down here, too. I think it's 80% (or 6.5 in 10) chance of rain the next 3-4 days.

It's raining in loverly south Montgomery County, Texas, and it's in the low 80s as a result... the 90 degree stuff ain't over yet.

BUT...

The lows this week are supposed to be 70-71 degrees.

I am feeling a tingle.

Rode through AU the other day. From the looks of the indoor facility, it could come a herrican and it would not matter. Practice will be held...in comfort!

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

It's not just football weather.  This is mid-conference play weather.  This is buy your candy for Halloween weather.  This is "what family is coming over for Thanksgiving" weather.  This is cooking bacon and eggs over a camp fire in the mountains weather.
