And that's your opinion. I don't agree with your assumption as a blanket statement. They don't run THAT much more. Watch a few off tackle plays or sweeps. O linemen do plenty of running and are usually slightly taller and weigh more in general. Screw Belemia and his new midget friend. If they don't like it they need to condition their linemen better.

Yeah but his wife is hot no matter how much of an idiot he is. This schmuck hasn't even coached a game in the SEC and he has an opinion? Please. Give me a break. Have a winning season, then I may care--unless it's a something that's as ambiguous and slanted as the speed of the game. I'm all for player safety as long as the rules changes don't slant toward a particular style--this one definitely would.

    In my very first post I called him a crybaby, and said if it was a problem he should play lighter defensive tackles against hurry up teams.  But saying defensive linemen have to run a lot more than offensive linemen is not opinion.  Maybe on a given play an offensive lineman has to pull or run out on a screen or something, but over several plays the defensive guys have to run way more.

The fact that "barrow" in not a verb (in modern usage) makes my defensive effort comparable to Jake's performance last year. The mere fact that Jake performed like a castrated young hog would suffice as a noun in this thread.

The origin of the word does lend it's use as a verb. And I believe Jake was, in fact, carried last year.
