I can't think of anything I'd care less about. 

Except maybe naked gay male midget jello wrestling..... no, I can't think of anything I care less about than the Olympics.

I haven't taken the Olympics seriously for a very long time.

I try to watch the swimming because of the number of AU people competing.  Also, the wife of one of my co-workers is on the US Diving team.  Maybe gymnastics.

The rest???  Not so much...

The olympics do nothing for me.  Except bore me to death.  This is good for NBC or whichever network puts them on though, seeing as how there are no shows worth watching anymore.

I think the last time I watched very much of the summer Olympics was 1984 when it was in Los Angeles and a lot of stuff was shown live.  Even then, my interest was limited to swimming, basketball and Mary Lou Retton.

I'll probably watch a few minutes here and there, but that's about it.

I won't sit there and watch hours of coverage but I will watch and keep up with it, who from AU is competing, medals etc.

I'd like to see the Chi-comms get their collective ass kicked by us in every major sporting event; short of that I don't care about them since it's just a huge political stunt by the Chi-comms to glorify the "great, post-Maoist communist culture" along the lines of the 1936 Nazi Olympics (hosted by Adolf Hitler and his vermin). 

The IOC aught to be bitch-slapped for even awarding the games to these criminals but then again they have a history of kow-towing to dictators and thugs.

I have a hard time watching the Olympics when it is in a time zone half a world away.  By the time you get to see an event you already know the outcome.
