Alabama and Auburn should just drop basketball. Kidnappings, point shavings. This trouble just isn't worth 15-19 wins per year.

@Josh_Moon Is the Pollard kidnapping "just another black eye on the program"?
Quote
@Josh_Moon 11h
@AUChizad It's a black eye. But "another"? Not many black eyes in Tuscaloosa lately.

Handful of AU players used legal spice? Calloway, Kirkpatrick, even coach Crudup (among others) arrested for the real deal.(1of5) @Josh_Moon

AU's felony 4? Dismissed within minutes of the news. Hayes, Williams, Pettway, Calloway? Not til 2 weeks & 2 arrests later (2of5) @Josh_Moon

Allegations that MS St tried to pay Newton reflects poorly on AU? Ignore TTown Menswear, HotWheelz, laptops, fishing trips…(3of5) @Josh_Moon

You also used the "black eye" line referring to Liner arrest (now at Bama) & the shooting which AU players were the victim (4of5) @Josh_Moon

Speaking of victims, Ward victimized AU. Pollard victimized a 6year old girl. Tell me again how only AU has a black eye. (5of5) @Josh_Moon

@Josh_Moon You were not talking about "on the field" success when you said the Ward situation was a "black eye" on the program. Period.

@Josh_Moon Why don't you answer this question instead of throwing a fit? More UA player arrests in last 6 months, than AU arrests in 18.
I'm going to be required to back that last claim up.

I'm counting Pollard, their felony four, and of those, Williams committed a second robbery & Calloway was arrested for marijuana possession. Any others? I remember there being others that we hadn't even heard about until later... Also, not counting the two Liner arrests. And I wonder if he's counting the Liner arrest as an Auburn one? Who are our other three arrests outside of the Felony Four?

The fact that our state media is willing to argue with readers on Twitter over silly subjects such as this is a primary indicator that our state media is completely fucked up and 100% capable of pushing all things Bama.

He's talking about Dismukes, and I forgot that Pike actually was ever on the team. Granted, he didn't make it to the Fall. Quan Bray was arrested for loud music and open container.

Who's the Fullback? Who's the RB? Pretty positive he made those up...

And what other Bama players were arrested? I need ammo!

Eric Smith?  I'm sure that was longer ago than 18 months when he knocked a mofo out.

Actually, he was arrested again in February 2011 when he was kicked off the team, but that was still way beyond the 18 month window he laid out.

Any idea who the FB was before I make a fool of myself?

And no one can think of a single other Bammer arrest in the last 18 months?

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

UA football player charged with marijuana possession
Posted: Oct 21, 2011 10:18 AM CDT Updated: Oct 28, 2011 10:18 AM CDT

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

A University of Alabama football player was arrested and charged with marijuana possession last night.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department says Brent Cameron Calloway was arrested in the 900 block of Paul Bryant Drive at 12:49 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21.

Officers stopped a car that was driving without lights and noticed a strong marijuana odor coming from the car. Calloway was a passenger in the vehicle. Police found marijuana on Calloway's person and arrested him.

Police charged the 18-year-old freshman running back with second degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Calloway was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail last night. He has been freed on a $1,000 bond.

Alabama football: After leaving Crimson Tide early for NFL draft, cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick arrested for marijuana possession

Published: January 18, 2012
By MICHAEL CASAGRANDE — Special to the Ledger-Enquirer

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- A week earlier, Dre Kirkpatrick hoisted a crystal football in New Orleans.

His early-morning hours of this Tuesday, however, involved handcuffs in Central Florida.

The now-former Crimson Tide cornerback was arrested just after midnight on marijuana possessions charges in Bradenton, Fla. Kirkpatrick was booked at 12:48 a.m., and released on $120 cash bond.

Another former Alabama defensive back was arrested and booked at the same time on the same charges. Chris Rogers, a senior on the 2009 national championship team, was also processed by the Manatee County Sherriff’s Office.

According to a police report obtained by the Associated Press, Kirkpatrick was the passenger in a vehicle driven by Rogers who was stopped for driving on the wrong side of the road. A drug dog detected narcotics and police found the marijuana on the floorboard near Kirkpatrick’s feet.

Just be careful with the staplers.  At work, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...
