So, Bottomfeeder is a UGA fan, Nick Chubb is not the prospect that this topic is about (Chubb is UGA bound btw) & Deshaun Watson's HC came out and backtracked on his original statement stating that Watson didn't visit Auburn...now he's stating that Watson did in fact make that visit but that he made the visit without letting him know and that he (the HC) gave his players two weeks off and â€this happensâ€
"This was unbeknownst to me," Miller said. "I gave our kids two weeks off after spring ball and I left him alone for a week and this happened. Unfortunately this was part of it."
The five-star recruit came to a realization early into his visit Thursday night at Auburn.
"Deshaun told me he knew right after he got there that he shouldn't have been there," Miller said. "He knew it was a mistake. He told me he knew it was a mistake. He said if he could've left Thursday night he would've. He knew he made the wrong decision. He said Auburn was nice, but Clemson is nicer."
The coach added more to his quarterback's confession.
"It was a total lapse of judgment," Miller said. "He said 'I just made a mistake.' He said he believed someone he should not have believed. He's such a good kid and he made a mistake."
I highlighted the part that should tell you everything.
Deshaun Watson not only didn't think it was a mistake that he was at Auburn, he loved his visit.
IMO, the HC is the one that made the promise to Clemson and he's already cashed his check.
