Austin is a nice place to raise a family, if I was going raise one. And, they also have killer BBQ (Franklin's) and no kill animals shelters. Gotcha. The mention of Soldier's Creek brought back some memories. One of my best buds growing up, his family had a place on Perdido Bay right down from the opening to Soldier's Creek. Spent a lot of time fishing and boating in there.
