scrimmage 4/6/13

Only in this year's Iron Bowl will we see such things, and then, only the inbred innards will be seen.

The thing that I like most about Coach Johnson is that he shoots it straight in interviews. Him saying that we are physically in condition for the scrimmage makes me feel like we must have made some big improvements.

I have to believe we will be better on D. Pretty sure we won't be stat leaders but if we can make tackles and get takeaways we will be o.k.

The only way this crew is in shape is if they legitimately worked out and ran independently the moment Chizik was released. The lethargic effort and quit is not something that will go away quickly. I don't need the staff to make a believer out of me. It will show on the field in the first game with a complete team effort.
We should be nastier up front on both sides of the ball with the mentality this staff brings and I expect us to score some points with this system but what I really want to see is fight from start to finish, something we aren't used to seeing in recent years and what Auburn always represented even when they were outgunned previous to the MNC and truly several years prior to that even.

Well, yeah. This is what I'm expecting and have expected since Gus was named but I'm still thinking we can outscore SOME teams that we are not supposed to. Did you go to the scrimmage? If so, give us some detail. At least tackling has to be better, right? And I know we still suck at QB but they've still got a while till fall.

Now, if we still look fat on the line and LB's and DB's are doing the two hand ole, Imma b pist.
