The host Seminoles (11-6, 2-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) started the second half on a 30-8 run to take a 66-36 lead on the way to their first home win over North Carolina since 2004. Florida State never trailed.

Dulkys, a native of Lithuania, also had four steals and a blocked shot.

Harrison Barnes scored 15 points and Tyler Zeller added 14 for North Carolina (15-3, 2-1), which finished 4 of 21 from 3-point range.

No, your thread just got me to thinking about highly ranked teams who lost by 30 or more..... to an average team. I realize it's old news and I wasn't really trying to bring up a bitch slapping like that to counter your thread. It's just that I'm getting old and I can't always remember posting about embarrassing losses to mediocre teams.

Oh well, I guess I'll just do a search for 90-57 losses...to a middle of the pack club...you know...to see if I posted anything...only because your thread got me to thinking

Yessir. I understand. I'm remembering something about a little college in Pennsylvania...Lehigh...or something like that...something about another game last year...some kind of an important major upset of a highly ranked team in the first round of a very important tournament...

But losing like that as the # 1 team makes it historic worthy. No one cares that unc was #3.
