Just amazes me when you have someone who affected so many...who has a day set aside to recognize him. And everyone wants to act like it's not even happening, just because of who he was. I'm ashamed to be associated with this board and it's bigotted members. Well, I for one, will not participate in the blatant hatred of English comedians and I will duly note that Benny Hill was born this day in 1924.

And to add insult to injury they were such shitty shots they couldn't even hit him where it would kill him quickly. Had to make him suffer a couple of days by shooting his extremities.

He's the one that got disorientated in no man's land. They don't call it no man's land for nothing. And he's the one who didn't respond when challenged by the sentries of the 18th NC who rightfully shot him. And he's the one who got pneumonia after having those damn "cold" compresses!

Besides, my ancestors weren't in that unit and I've paid my respects at the grave of the General in Lexington, Virginia AND his arm at Ellwood Manor in Locust Grove, Virginia AND prayed in the Lee Chapel in Lexington too!

Pretty shitty of them if you ask me. Almost as shitty as them not being able to follow orders at Gettysburg and only sending 1/3 of their men causing Pickett's Charge to fail. The goat makes sense now! Pretty sure Pickett's men were mostly Virginian and I know the orders were screwed but why let accuracy get in the way of a troll?
