Clowney is definitely a force and that hit was AWESOME, but IMO he takes plays off too much to be considered the best Defensive player in the Country, ND MLB Manti Teo & FSU DE Bjorn Werner would be my top two...behind Jake Holland, of course.

4 total tackles, 1 FF & 1 FR doesn't scream (Defensive POTY)...maybe that's just me.
