This is another one of those "I'm old" milestones.

I'm older than a coordinator at Auburn.

Lashlee seems like basically Gus's puppet, and nothing more. Guess this affirms that Gus will be running the offense.

Also heard that Mr. Kodi Burms will be back on Auburn's sideline as a GA, coming over from his first year as GA at Arkansas State. So far, so good in Staff changes, IMO.

Yeah I'm ashamed that I actually bought the Chiz bit about letting his coaches coach and dogged Malzahn here for the play selection and QB roulette before he left.

We have a ways to go but this is a great start and whereas I think it might take more time to get there w/o Petrino, longterm this at least appears that Auburn is heading in the right direction as he severs ties with the old guard. Naturally, like others my concern is with the defense because we could very well put up over 30-40 initially and still lose. But it starts with hard work and accountability and it looks like Gus knew this all along. WDE!
