There was a replay shown and it showed where Bates simply tripped and fell landing on a player. Bates knew that and trooper knew that. Chizik was being his normal self in approaching that situation wrong. Trooper was trying to right it but to no avail. I also think he was trying to keep a situation from escalating. There is a time and place to be a disciplinarian. And that wasn't the place. It's unfortunate Chizik wasn't one where it actually counted. Fucker just had it all backwards in every aspect. And didn't see any wrong. I have no issue with what trooper did. Especially if, as JR said, trooper knows the Head man is wrong and had lost respect for him.

Understand but I just dont think that gives the hc a blank check to do whatever he wants even if he's wrong. Chiz was seriously wrong in what he did there. But he was too damn stubborn to ever see it. I just wouldn't use situations where Chizik was wrong to prove that trooper is too lax. I say make him recruiting coordinator and let someone else actually coach WRs.

I agree with Snaggle, GH, Trooper, Chiz, Bates, the official who threw the flag and the announcers on this one. I just smoked a doobie and pop a couple of quaaludes. It's all good. I do not feel the need to pop a cap in anyones ass today.

Like TJ Yeldon was totally committed to Alabama? These kids aren't committed to the University. They go there because they like the coaches, or other players, Or $$$, or they got hot hookers and blow on their visit. I'm all for cleaning house in this program. But admittedly, if this move costs us several 5* recruits, I'm not going to be happy. We need players. Big time players. And if we don't sign em', someone's going to and we'll be watching Carl Lawson rip our QB's head off.
