When we and Arkansas announce our head coaches at the same time, and only Arkansas is mentioned on the ESPN home page, we're doing it wrong.

Actually, it is not.  Sad, but I don't want to admit it.  He had to have known what the circumstances were with Dyer at Auburn. Yet, he chose to still bring him to Arkansas State.  Wash, Rinse, Repeat more of the smae bullshit from the last 4 years.

You dont have to get on shoot. No way I am supporting this athletic dept any longer with this buffoon over it. Done with it.  It's all as we feared initially. That JJ would fudge this up. I'll support auburn university but no way will I support the athletics when it's a waste and JJ continues to use the support money to flush it down the toliet.
Would you feel the same way if it were Patterson or Smart? The reason I ask is that I wonder if the outrage is more from the BP at all cost supporters. I had Smart and Patterson higher on my list but BP hire wouldn't have hurt me feelings too much.

Smart yes. Patterson no.

You'd feel this way about Kirby Smart?

Why?

My biggest beef with Gus is that he was part of Chizik's program just a season ago.  If Gus had the same success at a different school and went to Arkansas State and then came to Auburn, I'd probably support him.

Agree that Smart > Malzahn, but he was just as unproven as a HC.

Both hires demonstrate that Jacobs suffers from insanity by the very definition: Doing the same thing and expecting different results.

Chizik was a fantastic DC, and a fuckup HC. Because the two are not equatable.

And as expected Jacobs says that the choice was unanimous among the selection committee.

Yep. The only other one I would have felt this bad about would have been Clemson's OC.

I know it will eventually come out but despite appearances, I don't think this was Jacobs' hire.  I think the committee really settled on CGM....for whatever the reasons
