Every person we interview gets the Facebook, Twitter, and Google name search. Too many party pics, racist jokes, drug references, no job interview. And it's amazing what people will put out in the open on the internet about themselves. As Joe Rogan said on "NewsRadio", "You can't take pictures off the internet, that's like trying to take the piss out of a pool."
Not that it matters but don't you work for a dod contractor? I would imagine that's a little stricter than your norm.
Anyway, that kind of stuff still isn't the same. I still see the things you mention as more background info. Drugs, criminal record etc. To say you don't wanna hire the most qualified guy for the job because you don't agree with what he does at home re: to his wife/girlfriend, who he calls god, etc is beyond lunacy. Read the guys quotes in that article. The reasoning just baffles me. I can understand it more in what Sani is saying from a legal perspective and how arky was in a strange legal position.
