I don't normally get pissed about this kind of thing but occasionally, it just hits me wrong.  Headlines Sunday in our local rag, Teh Dothan Eagle, for the Bama/LSU game.  Huge print taking up 3/4 or 81% of the page...

I never, ever want AU to lose, even if it means a loss will initiate that much neeed change at the top.  I have to admit, there was a part of me that was real apprehensive after the win Saturday as Iwas thinking, "Please tell me the decision has been made.  Please tell me those in power didn't look at a 42-7 win over a high school and think...maybe..." 

The thing that did make me feel better was watching Chizik on the sidelines.  His face just said, "It's over."  Everything about his mannerisms said he's just doing his job and playing out the string.  But let's just say this weekend, IF...we really don't have a chance...and I don't think we do...please let them rape us hard in both holes with a fat 10" slab, just in case there's any doubt.

I think he thinks he is going to be here next year, that his "Blueprint" is working to perfection.

I don't ever want us to lose either but sometimes you gotta take one for the team, if it facilitates the changes that need to be made I hope UGA, AA&M and bama each hang 50 on us. And by wanting this I understand that next year our goal will just be to make a bowl game, with 2014 hopefully being a year we turn the corner.
