My thoughts as well. This quote really pisses me off:

Quote
On Jonathan Wallace and why did he not play earlier in the season?

“I have said it pretty much weekly that Jonathan has been taking bits and pieces of the offense, and I think he has been digesting them for a young guy pretty well. He got in at a point in the game tonight where it was really, really good to see him do some things that really show flashes and signs of him maturing some. But again, you can’t throw everything at a young guy and expect him to be able to execute at all. That’s number one. Number two, at that point and time in the game, it had calmed down a little bit with a lot of the blitzing and pressures and things of that nature. Not to take anything away from what Jonathan did because I am very proud of him, but when you are asking a guy to take on the whole game plan and all of the things that come with it, it is just not that simple. But I think as everybody saw tonight, you saw flashes of a guy that again, has an opportunity to keep getting weaned on to the different parts of the offense that he can succeed at. I think he showed that tonight.”
Bullshit, Eugene. You just got jackhammered by a freshman who obviously "took on a whole game plan" and executed it to perfection, not only against us, but pretty much each team aTm has faced this year. Jonathan came in and gave us the only glimpse of life on offense that we've seen all fucking year.

Just come on out and say it, Eugene; "I'm a dumbass, and there's no excuse for me to continue playing Mocha-Cam and The Turtle. I'm just a stubborn jackass, and I probably need a pair of eyeglasses." We all know it.

He says the same shit every week.   The shit he says would be ok if anybody saw a glimmer of hope for this team getting on track, but it's simply not there...not even close.

By the way...NMSU is as dreadful a WAC team as we are an SEC team, and will come to JH with hopes of salvaging their miserable season with a win over an SEC opponent on the road.  We'll get their best shot.

I left because this team sucks more than Janie Almiro did in the football locker room back in the 10th grade.

I had such a good time Saturday, up until 6:00 p.m.  I have never been more pissed off leaving JHS in my life.  And yes, it was at halftime.  Would have left before if I could have gotten the other two in my party together.  I even stayed for the entire Arkansas game, as bad as that was.  For as incredibly shitty as we played after a 2 week layoff, at least there were times in the game when we were "competitive" and had a chance to be there at the end.  This was over from the time that 4 F-16's missed the damn stadium and half of 85,000 fans couldn't see them.

I said way back that I needed to see fight against LSU and a win against Arkansas to give this staff a chance.  I was through after Arky.  So, what the hell made me so mad Saturday?  I've been watching AU football for longer that some of you have been alive.  Never been that upset...even after conceding the season weeks ago.  Maybe I was mad at myself for not leaving the X-Gate and walking straight to the Sexpedition.  I've just never seen something I "care" about that much, put itself in such an emabarrassing place.  I know, it's just football and I'm not playing.  But damn, it's also the reason why 85,000 people spent their time and money to go to Auburn Saturday.  And they put THAT shit on the field?

I also know we have 4 more weeks of this and no, they are not going to fire Chizik or Loeffler or Jacobs or anybody until season's end.  Just have to live with it and get through the next 4 Saturdays.  I got nuthin....just needed my own little rant.

Snags, you're being generous if you think 85k were in JHS Saturday night.

Without a doubt, that was the worst Auburn football game I've ever seen in person.  And I was present for the 2001 Iron Bowl, all of the 1992 season, all of the 1998 season, and the Fred Talley Arkansas game.

Christ, even Spirit tried to leave the stadium, knowing the shit fest that was about to come.

I looked her up for confirmation. I think she changed her name.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

True.  Just going by announced attendance.  Just think what the crowd will be this upcoming Saturday at 11:21 a.m.  New Mexico State.  As bad as the product is on the field and how much that is a factor in justifying this staff's firing...you start deducting the Saturday revenue of 25-30,000 people from the concessions and overall economy of this small town...torches will be lit and pitchforks in hand.  They already are. Can you imagine how much a small shop on College St. or all of the bookstores benefit from being packed for hours on all these football Saturdays?

One of the Alumni of my Fraternity owns one of the parking areas on Magnolia near where Mom's Party shop used to be.  He told me that they sold 350 season parking spots, and had less than 60% of those people show up.  Said that the drive up traffic is just as bad.

Which is one of the many reasons why the buyout is a non factor. That buyout is covered by just ones games lost revenue in the AD and the entire town.
