I've really kind of been sitting out on all the debate...mostly between the entire board and Prowler..over To Fire Or Not To Fire Chizik. And while I'm leaning more toward the position of it's time to move on, I'm still waiting on 2 things. First, I have no illusions about winning this weekend. But, I want to see some damn fight in this team. I want to see the coaches, especially on defense, do some things that tell me they're at least trying to win this game. (Hate to use Roof as a reference, but see Iron Bowl 09') I want to see Kalil Frazier show some sign that the light is coming on and he gives us hope that he may be a serviceable QB by years end.
The second thing is I want Auburn to beat Arkansas. No excuses. That's a bad, bad defense. Auburn will have played 3 top 25 teams, had every opportunity to get an identity and have 2 weeks to prepare. Plus, it's at home. So, bottom line for me is they at least try and trade punches with LSU and beat Arky. If they do, then despite what seems to be the consensus around here, I'll ride it out and see where it goes. If they can't do those 2 things, then fuck the whole lot of em'. Ship this staff to Siberia after game 5.
BTDub...nothing is going to happen to Chizik this year regardless. Jay Jacobs is a clueless, gutless worm and there are no more Bobby Lowders around to pull the trigger.
