Tyler Wilson is 100% not playing this week.  Someone could make a fortune selling anal lube to the Hawgs this weekend.

@Rivals: #Arkansas HC John L. Smith says that despite reports, the decision hasn't been made on QB Tyler Wilson

I wonder if they'll let old' John L. know when the decision is made. I doubt he's having much of the say.

@Rivals: #Arkansas HC John L. Smith says that despite reports, the decision hasn't been made on QB Tyler Wilson

Per ESPN.  You know.  Cuz they gots skreets.

Quote
While Arkansas coach John L. Smith says quarterback Tyler Wilson is a game-time decision for Saturday against No. 1-ranked Alabama, sources told ESPN.com he will not play.

"There will be no further update on Tyler Wilson's status today," Smith said in a statement Friday.

Wilson took a shot to the head and was knocked out of the game on Saturday in a 34-31 overtime loss to Louisiana-Monroe.

He'd been listed as questionable all week. But the decision was made that he wouldn't play after he underwent additional testing on Thursday, sources said.

Arkansas radio personality Bo Mattingly first reported Friday that Wilson wouldn't play against Alabama.

Wilson, a first-team All-SEC selection last season, didn't practice with the team on Thursday after practicing on Wednesday. Smith had said Wilson was being "evaluated" and that he expected something to be decided by Friday morning.

This is not the first time Wilson has battled a head injury. He suffered a concussion in the second week last season but came back and played the next week.

With Wilson out, the Hogs have been working with redshirt freshman Brandon Allen and junior Brandon Mitchell at quarterback.

Allen finished the game last week against Louisiana-Monroe. Mitchell, who moved to receiver this season, was Wilson's backup a year ago. The Hogs likely will have a package in for the Alabama game that will use Mitchell's running skills.

Agreed.

This may sound dumb, but if it was a bad enough head injury that they couldn't put him back in to beat ULM, it was bad enough that it's not going to buff out in a week. Keeping him out for the remainder of the ULM game wasn't just precautionary; it was necessary. Alabama always seems to get alot of hits on Arky QBs in the last few meetings, and they're not going to risk it with a head injury. Honestly, I would be surprised if he played next week for that matter.

AU and Alabama will both win by 14 or more in each game.

We get them 2 weeks from tomorrow. Wilson will be completely healed, well rested, and ready to throw for 700 yards

If Frazier regresses or stays the same:
ULM 28
AU 20

If he progresses:
AU 31
ULM 28
Crushed that one.
