Custom music in NCAA09
« on: July 11, 2008, 06:37:52 PM »
Will the custom music feature in NCAA09 (available next week) eliminate the frustration over Auburn's fight song not being included out of the box?

As I understand it, you can upload mp3 files and set them to be played in conjunction with select events in the game. It will theoretically be as granular as setting a sound for a sack, starting the fourth quarter, etc.

If this turns out to be true, you could then get the AU band CD and crank "Living On a Prayer" to start the fourth or "O Fortuna" before fourth down in addition to having the right freaking music play after TDs and FGs.

Is anybody but me stoked about this feature?

Not just you. I think this will really make the game more enjoyable. We need to compile a list for certain events and the song that the band usually plays at that time.

I'm stoked about the music options in the game, everytime I score I'm going to play Short Dick Man.

That is awesome.  I will have to upload Rock and Roll Part II to play immediately following the Iron Bowl game.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I have all the Guitar Heros -- but only for PS2.  When I got the PS3, I added Rock Band.  Love it.  It blows GH away, IMO.

Was going to backtrack and get the GH3 with Slash for PS3, but the incompatibility issues were a problem.  Would have to have bought the game and two more guitars (making a total of freaking 6).  Then found out about GH World Tour coming out this fall (which really guts the hell out of GH:Aerosmith) and decided to wait for that and save up to load up on the new drums and axes -- none of which will work with Rock Band or the upcoming Rock Band 2.

I can't remember my damn PS ID and am at work out of town.  I will hook to you when I can get back home where it is.  Probably Friday. or later.

What a coincidence.  I once new a guy by the name of abrnfanatc.  He was a giant douche, so you probably don't know him.  I remember this one time, he organized a meet-and-drink and then bailed out on it at the last minute.  Like I said, GIANT DOUCHE.

But you probably don't know who I'm talking about, so forget I said anything.

At the start of the Fourth Quarter, for anyone that will Dare to play me in Jordan-Hare, you'll hear....."Crank Dat Souja BOY"....Yeah, Mutha Fucka, IT'S ON BITCHES.
My Music of choice coming into the stadium will be "Welcome To The Jungle".
My Third down song of choice will either be..."For Whom The Bell Tolls" or "Bang Your Head"
When I score through the air you'll hear the Air Raid Siren going off.
When I score on the ground you'll hear the sound of Explosions going off, the explosions are from the Atomic Bomb.
Let me sack you and you'll hear..."Boom Sha Lak-Lak Boom"
I've also got the sound of a Tiger Roar and Cow Bells.
LOL.....I'm fuckin' ready.
