There were failed tests in 1999 or 2001 or something, failed tests in other years too but had them "fixed" by pitching a shit fit.

He passed over 700 fudgeing tests! He did everything asked of him and played by their rules. This was a witch hunt, plain and simple. Tygart had a personal ax to grind with Lance.

I like how the "evidence" against him are some bullshoot accounts from 2 KNOWN DOPERS and LIARS - Hamilton and Landis. Real credible. And still, no failed drug tests.

Nope. And same thing with Bonds too. Epo wasn't even illegal in cycling when he started using it so that bewilders me too. Same thing with roids in baseball. That was my main emphasis in the quote kaos ridiculed. It was required that he passed the tests. He did. If he passed them but doped, sounds like the testing body is fucked up then to me. If anything he made everyone realize how much of a joke drug testing was. It probably pissed them off too (mainly Tygart).

People also fail to realize that PEDs don't make talent. Bonds was smashing 40-50 hrs a year at 170 lbs in a pitching era. Lance had a vo2 max of 80 before he was even 20 years old. He was a national triathlon champion as a teenager. These guys are genetic freaks regardless of this.

I've axed many times how Barry Bonds and Mark McGuire...now Lance Armstrong etc. should be treated any different than Lyle Alzado.  (Other than the fact that he's dead)  Alzado was an integral part of a Super Bowl Championship and admitted to juicing virtually his whole career.  Don't you take away the Raiders SB win since a guy who was wreaking havoc on opposing QB's and runnings backs was jacked up on juice? 

I look at the whole thing a little differently. I think you change the rules, which they have, to ban PED's and move on. A lot of these guys like McGuire and Sosa and Bonds in baseball...and Alzado and countless others in football..and pretty much throughout sports...were doing this at a time when not only was it not banned, it was almost encouraged.  The MLB powers that be, had no problem looking the other way while their sport was reaching new heights in popularity with records being shattered and fans filling the stands to watch balls fly out of the park...and see Clemens bringing 96 m.p.h. heat.
