Political Ad Fracus This Week
« on: August 10, 2012, 06:28:46 PM »
I think most of you all know that I'm a Mitt Romney supporter.  I state that only as a matter of disclosure before I mention this political ad that The Pharaoh's campaign partner group put up this week basically stating that Mitt Romney is a murderer.  It's so offensive and misleading that even CNN has had to criticize it.  I wonder how much lower and more despicable The ONE's campaign will evolve as the season develops.  They've gone from saying that Romney abuses his dog to, basically, a murderer at this point.

Here's The ONE's despicable ad:

(Sidebar: is it just me who thinks that this guy looks like Bob Newhart?)

Here's the Romney campaign response which, rightfully, questions The Pharaoh's character:

Here's a link to CNN's critical view of The ONE's ad: http://whitehouse.blogs.cnn.com/2012/08/07/ad-linking-romney-to-death-of-the-wife-of-a-laid-off-steelworker-not-accurate/

(Of course CNN couldn't criticize the ad without presenting a copy of it on their site...it's the least they can do for The Pharaoh.)

"Wait, wait, wait.  Hold on.  Uh, you failed to get the message.  This is a heart wrenching story about Joe Soptic and his wife who experience unspeakable, uh, tragedy due to not having health insurance.  Joe wanted to tell some of his story and he did.  This was more about healthcare and promoting, uh, the values we, uh, the values that we want the country to, uh, can you scroll, yeah, can you scroll that back up?  No?"

Absolutely disgusting ad. I would say the same if Mitt had put out the same ad against Obama.
