of the seven members of the United States armed forces killed in Afghanistan this week and the nearly thirty others who have lost their lives there this year. (As tragic as the Sikh shooting was I was reminded of this bad week our military has had on another thread as a reason for truly flying our flags at half-staff at this time.)
