This type of thinking would normally never come across my mind. But the bammer media, and idiot Finebaum callers & Finebaum himself brought it there.
1) So are the local news stations going to run stories about how Tuscaloosa is a dangerous place and parents of recruits should think twice before sending their kids there? What does Jeff Speegle think about this? Between this and the thing on the strip, it's a bigger problem there than Auburn.
2) Will the shooter get widespread fan support on Twitter?
3) If football players were involved A) Will we even know about it, or will that be covered up? And B) Will it be considered part of a "culture of corruption" even if they're simply the victims? Will Finebaum dig and dig and suggest on air that they started the scuffle and brought it on themselves?
4) if the shooter isn't even a resident of the town (which I doubt that he's not since this was at a bar), is it still a black eye on the city of Tuscaloosa, it's students, and its football team?
5) Did the University alert the parents of all of its students in a timely matter? Will the media go apeshit over how the University failed, putting kids in danger, even if this took place off campus?
I wish my mind went straight to thoughts & prayers for the victims, but instead it's forced here thanks to this bias in the state media.
