He can hold his breath and stand on his head for that long.

Maybe we should be recruiting him for the swim team.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Somebody needs to get to him and tell him to flip to bammer. And then on singing day, flip them off. As long as they believe he is theirs, they will leave him alone. Senior year should be the best times, not the worst.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Live a day in his life and see what's coming at him. Easier said than done.
I'm not trying to minimize any of the difficulties that he faces. We all face difficulties. His are likely more challenging than what I faced at that age. At the same time, I'm not going to buy excuses for run-ins with the law and/or hs coaches. He can make it for one more school year.

They're not excuses.

He will either do what they want or they'll screw with him badly.  Look at the administration at that school.

So, if DL sits out his sr season in hs--is CGC o.k. with it? Jason Caldwell was on 740 am and indicated that it would likely not have any effect on his offer. If this is true, I'm jumping to the conclusion that the staff is aware of the mentioned hard time that DL is being given. I'm still not convinced that the two arrests have anything to do with it but I can't beleive that CGC is still going after a guy with this much baggage unless there is more to the story than meets the eye. I hope there is.

Chiziks approach to the situation alone shows me there is more to the story.

I'm not going to say that things aren't as bad there as you say because I have no idea but if they are, the AHSAA needs to be there instead of in Auburn. I have a really hard time laying all of this blame on the REC and the coaching staff. Afterall, the HS hc's job depends on wins and I have to believe that most any hc in Alabama would want DL on their D. If DL is not giving any attitude at practice and acting right, I am sorry for thinking that he is just in need of an attitude adjustment. It really doesn't matter how good of a player he or any other kid is (MD, ZP, etc.)--it the attitude isn't there, there will be problems.
AHSAA President is in uat's back pocket, remember that. As for Dee, his attitude is fine, it's the reports/rumors of his actions that aren't. Like rws stating, like it's a fact, that he was kicking, screaming, cussing, punching, spitting, throwing things, head butting, etc. at the female officer.
