Watched Amazing Spiderman at the crib last night.  I wasn't that amazed.

I love Emma Stone, and I thought Zuckerburgs Facebook partner did a god job as spidey.  I just didn't really care for the story.  I thought it was pretty weak, and didn't really make me care about the characters.

That poor Taylor Kitsch fucker has the ignominious distinction of being in two of the biggest bombs in Hollywood history.   Battleshit and John Crater.

I am going to retract my previous statement on this movie. 

I watched it last night.  I have had it for a couple of weeks but really had no interest in watching.  I was bored last night nothing was on, so I grabbed the iPad 26 and retreated to the porch for a stogie and a movie.  Decided to watch this.

Maybe it was because I had no expectations and fully expected it to suck ass, let me just say I was pleasantly surprised.  I think the movie execs royally fucked up by calling this movie Battleship. There is only one part where it is kinda like the game Battleship, but give me a fucking break its a board game.  I think the marketing behind this movie is what caused it to bomb. 

I thought it was actually a fun, exciting alien movie. With a different presence (sea battle).  I was a little disappointed in the end, but pretty typical, summer movie.

I actually think you should take a gander at it if you haven't seen it.

At worse you get to watch this on screen for 2 hours.

So whatever sparked your disinterest also affected a lot of others -- me included.  Figured I'd watch it in about 2014.

My bad thought you had seen it.  Like I said if you take it for what it is, really wasn't bad.  Maybe because I had no expectations.
