No. 3 Auburn Men's Golf Team Earns No. 1 Seed at NCAA Greensboro Regional AUBURN -- The No. 3 Auburn men’s golf team earned a one seed in the 14-team NCAA Greensboro Regional to be played at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C., May 17-19. Four of the nation’s top 25 teams in the Golfweek rankings are in the Greensboro Regional.The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams qualify for the 116th NCAA Men’s Golf Championship at Riveria Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., May 29-June 3.Auburn is led by junior All-American Blayne Barber who has the lowest scoring average in the SEC among active players at 70.66).
