Did anyone catch the Weezer performance on Conan last night?

They did "If you're wondering..."

When it was over and Conan walked over to greet the band he said something that sounded like:

"Hey, Rivers, nice combover."

I realize that combover and Cuomo sound similar and that may be what Conan said, but why use the guy's last name when addressing him directly (rather than introducing him to the crowd)?

Sidenote: Rivers is looking pretty bald under those floppy bangs.
