A slight correction. The douche-pocalypse was a one day event and occurred on April 27, 2011. Gameday and other gatherings are more commonly referred to as "douche-apaloozas".

I see the distinction you're making, it's just that they get exponentially douchier by the moment.  Therefore, every time they gather is even douchier than the previous gathering.  Thus, the anomalously recurring "douche-pocalypse."
