If you want beer get a beer. If you want Bartles and James get that. A light "flavoring" for aromatics is acceptable, but if the beer starts to get sweet or tastes of fruit, not just smell lightly of it, it's not beer anymore IMHO.
The aromatics should be mostly natural and definitely not part of the marketing strategy.
