Randy Kennedy: Not a homer
« on: February 10, 2012, 05:32:20 PM »
In response to a caller who said the Alabama spring game would pit the number one and two teams in the country.

"I know he was joking but there is truth there.  Take away their 20 best players and Alabama is still one of the best teams in the country.  There are no weaknesses.  Three deep there isn't a weakness on that team."

No, Randy, there isn't a team in the nation that could handle the Tide third string.

And yet should you call him on his homerism, he will express indignant surprise.
