All I care about:

Did we fill our needs?

Quarterback needs depth, competition, and potential.

Zeke Pike?  Check.

Running back was solid and only needed a bigger body.

Jovon Robinson?  Check.

Wide receiver needs depth and true #2 option to open up Emory Blake and Lutz.

Ricardo Lewis? Maybe Stefon Diggs?  Check.

Offensive line desperately needs depth, a reason for competition, and guys that can fill in as seniors graduate.

Shane Callahan?  Patrick Miller?  Avery Young?  Check.

Tight end needs someone that can take over for Lutz next year.

Ricky Parks?  Check.

Defensive line needs quality in the middle and depth at the end position.

Tyler Nero?  Gimel President?  Sorta check.  We really could have used another big star recruit.

Linebacker needs playmaking ability and depth.

Cassanova McKinzy?  Javiere Mitchell?  Check.

Defensive back needs depth and a reason for competition.

Joshua Holsey?  TJ Davis?  Sorta check.  Could have used Darby here.

Add in that JaQuay Williams could play linebacker or wide receiver.

This is a really good class.  If we had landed Goldman and Darby, I'd say it ranks right at the top with everyone else.

BTW Will Adams is official.  Recvd his LOI.  This might be the year of O-Line!!!!!!!!

Shane Callahan    OL    6-6 / 285
Patrick Miller    OL    6-7 / 275
Robert Leff    OL    6-6 / 270
Avery Young    OT    6-7 / 292
Will Adams    OT    6-7 / 280

:jaw: That is a lot of beef

Now we just need a 7' QB to throw over there asses. Holyyyyyyyy Shit the future looks bright at OL.

So what do we do with those 5 other spots?

Any predictions?

Will we leave them open and hope to fill them with early enrollees next year?

Fill them with Plan B guys?

GF, add to that the signees from last year of Westerman, Robinson, Dismukes and O'Reilly...and we're set at the big ugly position for some time to come.

Filling need, I like it.

Would have loved some more top flight LBs and a stud DT is always a bonus.

But....I'm pretty much OK with this class.

We give one to Diamond and one to Diggs.  Let's see...5-2=3.  Okay, we can "Plan B" those other spots.

So....I've been out of pocket since about 12:30.

Did the sky finishing falling?

All you really need to know is that Zeke Pike better be a baller, or Kiehl Frazier better learn to throw a ball.  If either of those don't happen, then the other recruits probably won't matter, and the sky will have fallen.

I don't think the offense will flounder.  Given the OL you guys got, and the depth at RB (Mason, Blakely, McCaleb), plus Jovon Robinson, being able to run the ball effectively should be easy.  Let's just hope Loeffler can make (and is wanting to make) use of it.  I don't know if Loeffler is a high power offense guy, or a if he has a more conservative style of playcalling, but he should be able to rely heavily on a running style offense if need be.

But hopefully the QB position will get sorted out.  Moseley is out definitely (at least in my opinion), so you've got to either rely on Frazier or Pike, or a combination of the two rotating.

Save them for Diggs and Diamond.  If they chose someone else, we save them.

I can see the Frazier thing but right now, Whinesley is the only thing behind him if that happens.  I don't want that fucker to ever touch an Auburn field again...unless he's running out to grab the kicking tee.

Fraizer has talent and all the physical tools are there, Loeffler has a reputation for developing QB's.   I can easily see this happening.
