We need Goldman. We need L. Williams too but we have ends out the ass. Part of this is due to converting tallish high school LBs to the DE pool. The Updykes got the best MLB prospect in Reggie Ragland, large, fast and can really leap. This is what we need to recruit now for next season's crop. I feel pretty good about our smallish OLBs with "the Stache" running the D. We got in on Alexander moreso after he was injured and if we get him it's because we showed him attention when he needed it most. Is B. Brown still available?
I had rather have C. Patterson for two years than that wavering mutt fraternizer Jaquay. IMO, he's very good, but he isn't any better overall than Sammie (set to start before injured) Coates anyway.
Diggs and Louis are ready to play wherever they land-both full growd and can ball.
However, any one of the three is a plus at this stage of the game.
Ronald Darby will play early wherever he goes and we need him because he's always the fastest guy on the field. I really like our other corner verbals and safety J. Moore will be a nice addition.
I think all of the available OTs are a couple of years from being SEC ready and I do like the OG Adams because I don't think GT's Johnson would want him if he wasn't a human plow. Everyone raves about Young and Diamond but UF and Michigan will be very hard to beat.
We get:
Frost, Dee Ford and DeLaine back on defense along with nasties Robinson and Westerman with Sammie and things start looking much better.
And as JR says, there are some others that might swing our way with soft offers.
I'm happy with the fifteen we have but a little down because we didn't keep the momentum after Gus and Dyer went away and the Yeldon switch.
