Are you making it down/over for the basketball outing?

I'll check the calendar and talk with Sani; isn't it the 18th?  (Guess I need to look in teh BB Forum eh?)

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

The same strategy that I've seen forever, wear the opponent down, gain a lead of 12 to 20 plus points, then slow down the tempo in the last few minutes of the game.  That is not going to cut it with a dangerous  opponent

Burrbinz it is then!

Now if we can find a place where the damn smoke nazis will allow us to smoke some fine cigars I'll be happy.  About the only cigar-friendly place that I found last year was in Sani's truck.

I'm sure Snagglepuss is celebrating.

Yeah, what a disappointment.  I know this type of commentary belongs in the BB forum but I'll say it here anyway (report me to the Mods); two factors were involved here with the first one being the Tarheels playing this particular game with the same strategy that I've seen forever, wear the opponent down, gain a lead of 12 to 20 plus points, then slow down the tempo in the last few minutes of the game.  That is not going to cut it with as dangerous an opponent as Duke.  The second factor was that last, very lucky (I'm sure some would say "skillful"...but that's a delusional assessment) 3 pt shot by Duke in the last 2 seconds of the game.

And, as a codicil, you have GOT to make the free throws.  GOT to.  There's no excuses especially at a program like Carolina.

I've said my peace.  We'll see how the Tarheels play at that quaint little gym in Durham in a few weeks.

Was out yesterday so I couldn't respond.  And yes, I was cheesin' after the game.  I watched some of the pressers of both corches after the game and damn, you can't get two more classy individuals.  One of the first things out of Coach Buy-a-vowel's mouth was "I still think they're the better team. We just fought and hung around and got hot right at the end."  He went on to praise UNC's players, the fans etc.  Corch Williams was getting asked why he did this or that and he said, "Hey, there was another team on the floor tonight that had a little something to do with the outcome".

I look forward to the meeting in the quaint little gym across town.

I tried to smoke what I had planned on being a Victory cigar after the game but it tasted just a little bitter.

Hope that you can make it to the TigersX BB Outing (I might be wearing Carolina Blue that day...).

Would love to make it.  Trying to decide between a few hours drinking with Degeneration X and bad basketball, or a weekend of drinking and watching old bands at the beach.  Go ahead and wear the baby blue.  Only crimpsum offends me.  (Insert smiley emoticon that I don't have here)
