Name your favorite Auburn player not named Bo or Cam and why?

I'll start.

Karlos Dansby

One of the few times I was right about a player based off of spring practice.  Converted from WR we kept hearing how we was all over the field.  I remember no one even knew who he was...I told my brother watch out for Karlos Dansby this year, he is going to tear the field up.  He was the new breed of LB that Tubs tried to duplicate and had mixed success with.  Great tackling and ball skills. Could cover a WR if need be.

He made some of the most amazing plays, I still remember the diving out of bounds tip the ball play interception that made it as one of the best ESPY plays.  Even his name and number were cool for a LB Karlos <--- with a K and #11!!! His is the one autograph that I have not gotten and would like to add to the collection.

Guy had a nose for the ball...wish you could clone him.

I'll go with Lutz, he is so steady and has great hands and uses his head. I feel he was very under used last year.
And I think he came to Auburn because he loved Auburn.

I always admired Brandon Cox and Randy Campbell. Both had a ton of heart and exceeded their natural born physical limitations. People insulted Brandon hard during games but many didn't know what he was dealing with. He has a great record and with pretty good stats. Campbell was a great game mgr running the Wishbone with Bo. Just an all around nice guy. Pat Sullivan as well. All good Auburn men with class.

As I said in another thread, Jeff Burger was my favorite QB and overall AU player.  Burger was tough, knew how to win in crunch time and epitomized a Pat Dye type player. He was the type QB that gave you the sense AU would win no matter what.  I recall his "suspension" and thinking we had no chance.  When he came running in after one play off, I knew the game was in the bag.

Rudi Johnson.  Other than Cam and Bo he did more to turn Auburn around in a single season than any other player I recall.  If you remember the year before Auburn had the Rusty Williams, Heath Evans, and Markeith Cooper pupu platter at running back.  This play with the call from Mike Tirico just yelling out "Rudi Johnson ...  RUDI JOHNSON! ....  RUDI JOHNSON!!!! TOUCHDOWN AUBURN!!!!! WHAT A RUN!!!! in amazement has to be one of my all time favorite Auburn highlights.

You meet a man on the Oregon Trail. He tells you his name is Terry. You laugh and tell him: "That's a girl's name!" Terry shoots you. You have died of dissin' Terry.

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said, "Guys don't mind hitting Michael Vick in the open field, but when you see Cam, you have to think about how you're going to tackle him. He's like a big tight end coming at you."

My pick...Charlie Freeman's brother.

The kid absolutely loves Auburn, and did everything he did 110%.  It is well documented that he struggled with assignment foosball, but he had a motor that would not stop.  Even with all the setbacks he had along the way, he still came through probably the worst defense statistically in Auburn history, and played lights out.

Quentin Groves.

Mainly because I was around him a lot when he was at Auburn.  His charisma was contagious, and he was legitimately excited about football 24/7.  His wife was also kind of hot, and it was funny to listen to her yell at him about football.

Also, he was a badass defensive end.

Didn't he have some sort of verbal domestic altercation that came to light pre-draft?  Maybe she was pissed about him trying to get sacks on running plays during the Miss State game?

Jason Miska.

That sack on Barker in the 1993 Iron Bowl was greatness.  Watch the video, and Barker is such a pussy, he just dropped on the ground before Miska got to him, he didn't want to get hit.
